ChrisCooper. Sort of my fault as I knew the battery was getting a little bad for a while, this morning my car finally refused to start. I know Fords require a silver cadmium battery, and the current one is a 700amp 70ah one. Anyone know of a good source of a replacement at a reasonble price.
UK/Ireland Location: Aberdeenshire. Posted May 4, 2020. That's a standard load battery, with the Focus engines it's either EFB or AGM in certain specifications. If you have EFB then it's interchangeable with AGM but not vice versa. In the Yuasa range you're looking at 7000 for EFB and 9000 for AGM.

I Thought some of my observations may be of use to someone. The original battery was a Varta D3V5A EFB 75Ah 700A its dimensions are – length 312mm, width 175mm, height 172mm. the replacement battery is a Varta E46 EFB 75Ah 730A, its dimensions are exactly the same as the original.
