The anime adaptation of the manga by writer Tsugumi Ohba and artist Takeshi Obata boldly stood out during its shared era with its Shonen Jump peers in " Naruto ," "Bleach," and "One Piece." Sure,
if u like death note, u wont regret it. story-wise its better than the anime, but the anime has bonuses of voices and OST and animation. but the manga expands more on peoples thought process, and writes characters better in the second half. you dont have to read it, but i think its worth it and i recommend
The thing you have to realize though is that it wasnt Light's fault that he lost, it was Mikami's. Light told him not to use the real Death Note but he still went to the bank to write Kyomi Takada's name in the book. When he did this he got tailed and that's what got them caught in the end.WHY DID IT HAVE TO END LIKE THAT OH MY GOD. It was such a good show and I got so into it so the ending just hurts a lot. Ugh and the way they showed misa amane at the end actually made ne want to scream and cry bc it hurt so much.
The manga is better written and paced but the anime has better presentation due to its amazing score and fun art style. The manga is absolutely the best by a wide margin, BUT the anime is really, REALLY good too. I still need to actually finish both lmao.
The actual rule is Rule 31: “The number of pages of the Death Note will never run out.” Because it’s like magic and stuff. Shown in the full list of manga rules from the book ‘Death Note 13: How To Read’, and maybe somewhere in the anime in a transition slide.
The manga ending where Light out of sheer desperation begged Ryuk to write everyone's names down in the Death Note. Ryuk then proceeds to write down Light's name and Light realizes this and starts
Nier, on the other hand, being the true successor of L, outsmarts Light and manages to catch him within a mess of lies. After acquiring one of the three real death notes, Nier slips fake pages
