The way I found out (through extensive searching) was to do the following: Right click the game in Steam and go to "Properties > Local Files Tab > Browse Local Files". From here go into "bin" and you'll see two files (among many) that are named "farcry3.exe" and "farcry3_d3d11.exe" - individually right click these files, and go to "Properties

The only let down was, when killing vaas and hoyt. It turns from really pretty sences into a black room with a white ground. With no other textures or objects. I think it is a bit strange since when killing hoyt you are litterly in his office and then when the kill scene begins this black room appears.

2 Answers. Check in the map options that all the icon are checked. This means they’ll show up on the map. If they are and they still don’t show up make sure you have all the maps. Like Paralytic said, you can just buy the maps in game menu and it will show you exactly where each location is.
