Click "Connect" to connect your PC to your PS3. Locate the GTA IV folder on your PS3's hard drive. The file path may differ depending on your system, but it is commonly located at "hddo\GAMES\GTA4." Open the GTA IV folder. Locate the "USRDIR" folder within your "GTA4" folder. Find your downloaded GTA IV mod files.
TLDR: Game works, use Proton Experimental Just got my deck today and wanted to update this thread. Installing GTA 4 and the requisite Rockstar launcher worked just fine, but the game was hanging when starting new game. I changed the Proton version to experimental and it stopped hanging. Runs great 👍
Simply because Xbox360 doesn't allow to share savegames. In GTA IV you have to make certain important decisions (e.g. choose who to kill), which will alter the course of the game, so not all possibilities are present. The Missions containing such decisions are available are present with both options executed, so that you can go on from either
in the main menu of the ps3 go to. SETTINGS and then Game Settings and turn OFF PS UPSCALER & PS SMOOTHING. next go to VIDEO SETTINGS and do the following. go to BD INTERNET CONNECTION and select ALLOW then go to CLOSED CAPTIONS and turn it OFF next go to BD/DVD CINEMA CONVERSION and select VIDEO then go to BD/DVD UPSCALER and change it to OFF neoseeker.com, for hosting this guide. Extract the .exe file to you GTA IV folder. Connect your PS controller and start the .exe. It will detect your controller and you can assign buttons to the X360 counterpart. Once you save your settings and exit, GTA IV will detect your controller properly and you can play nicely on your PC. Xwq6T0c.
